Sleep Disorder Frequency

Frequent sleep disorder is known to be a problem with about one third of the population with just 10% of them being diagnosed. There are many causes for sleep disorder but regardless of the origin the outcome on our health can be devastating.

It is known that sleep disorder can be related to:

  • Type 2 Diabetes
  • heart attack & stroke
  • high blood pressure
  • Impotence

Sufferers can experience a reduction of their cognitive skills and a lower than average job performance in addition to a lower quality of life. This can result in an increased risk of becoming involved in an automobile accident and to possible work-related injuries.

  • Obstructive Sleep Apnea (OSA)
